Here you will find instructions to help you understand and pay your Statement of Student Fees for Fall 2008. Please take time to read these pages thoroughly. You will need this information to complete proper payment procedures. All information and fees detailed here are subject to change without notice.

Please remember that the Payment Due Date is August 13, 2008
You may make your payments online by proceeding to the Student Services link at http://studentservices.purchase.edu.
When making payments by mail, please return the following:
Payment is due by August 13, 2008. Failure to meet this due date will incur a Late Payment Fee (as detailed from the schedule below). The Statement of Student Fees must be returned with payment and/or proper financial aid deferments. Your student account must be cleared of all prior charges before you will be permitted to attend class, reside on campus and obtain or renew a meal card. Statements that are sent in with incomplete payments and/or deferments are subject to cancellation of registration.
Late Payment Fee
If a payment due date is missed, a late payment fee will be imposed with a monthly billing as per the schedule below:

Financial Aid Credits
All financial aid deductions preprinted on your bill are estimated figures and are subject to change. You will be responsible for paying any balance remaining from the difference between your estimated financial aid and your actual amount of financial aid received.

Adjustments
You may adjust your bill according to the following procedures. Please check your Statement of Student Fees carefully. For your information, charges for the Fall 2008 semester are listed under "Tuition & Costs".
Medical Insurance
As a matriculated student, if you already have equal or better medical insurance coverage, you may waive the student medical insurance by filling in the information required by the Online Waiver at http://studentservices.purchase.edu by September 22, 2008. Once you complete the online form successfully, deduct the $329.00 insurance charge from the Statement of Student Fees.

International Students Insurance
Please contact Student Affairs regarding waiving this fee.
Residence Hall / Apartment Changes
You must submit written proof from the Office of Residence Life indicating a change in housing accommodation or withdrawal from housing. Please adjust your bill and payment accordingly.
Residential Damages
Damages are assessed by the Office of Residence Life. If you have any questions, please contact that office directly at (914) 251 -6320.
Meal Plan Changes
If you wish to adjust your meal plan, go to the student services page, change your plan and adjust payment accordingly. Please note that if you live in the Residence Halls you must select a meal plan and CANNOT choose the Commuter/Apartment plans or the declining balance plan. After September 22, 2008, you can no longer change from one meal plan to another.
Log on to http://studentservices.purchase.edu and choose the "Meal Plan Request" link under the Finances section. Log in with your e-mail account and password, and simply follow the directions. If you are a matriculated commuter or have apartment housing on campus, you are not required to have a meal plan but are encouraged to do so if you dine on campus most of the time.
