Purchase Youth Theatre

New this summer…
Purchase Youth Theatre is offering three two-week sessions of focused instruction in musical theatre, including contemporary acting, vocal production, stage movement, and dance for new and returning performers. Students meet in small classes of same-aged children with experienced teachers and practicing artists. The staff presents different lessons for each session, and children may register for one, two, or three sessions without repetition. This skills-building program is based more on process than end result, and is specially designed to help middle and high school students develop self-confidence, a work ethic, and enjoyment in the performing arts.

• Classes run Monday–Friday, 9:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. (Session I begins on Tues., July 1, with proportionately reduced fees.)
• Each session culminates in an informal performance for family and friends at the College.
• Participants must provide their own jazz shoes.

Session I: July 1–July 11 (except July 4)
$675 for the first registration
$625 for the second registration in the family

Session II: July 14–25
$815 for the first registration
$765 for the second registration in the family or the second registration of the same child

Session III: July 28–August 8
$815 for the first registration
$765 for the second registration in the family or the second registration of the same child
