How to Study Business at Purchase College

1. Major in economics with a business concentration
   
   • Understand economic/financial theory and its historical development
   • Apply theory to real-world problems
   • Develop skills necessary for success in a competitive economy
   • Choose four business electives among:
     > Accounting
     > Marketing
     > Management
     > Entrepreneurship/Business Planning
     > Money and Banking
     > Financial Economics
     > Business Economics
     > Entertainment Economics
   • Register for a business internship
   
   
2. Major in any discipline at Purchase College and minor in economics (take these courses in the minor):
   • ECO 1500 Macroeconomic Theory I
   • ECO 1510 Microeconomics I
   • Three business electives

FAST-TRACK M.B.A. at the Long Island University/Westchester Graduate Campus (located on the Purchase campus):

• Waive graduate courses by taking undergraduate business courses
• Take graduate courses while completing your B.A. in economics at Purchase
• Pay reduced tuition
