When she is not whittling her time away at The Independent office she is often seen strutting around campus like some sort of ego inflated narcissistic peacock showing off it's plumage. She has aspirations of traveling far and wide one day and maybe, just maybe, becoming a writer as well.

Beth is a senior journalism major. When she's not working at The Independent she's doing six million other things but that's okay. She likes comic books and long stealthy walks on private beaches. It's a long story. You should say hi to her if you see her. She likes that.

She is a Senior New Media. She hopes to do a lot in life, but realizes she still has no idea what to do. She loves making videos, Shih Tzu's, whipped cream and the sound of rain while sleeping.

Kristen is an omnivorous capricorn. Her favorite color is purple. She has a deep, passionate love for Star Wars, and has lots of fun running anime club.

Dan is a recent transfer student at Purchase, with a background in all sorts of wacky computer generated art, but his true passion is film and video. When he's not chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool and shootin' some b-ball outside of the school, he's making the dopest graphics you ever did see.

Alicia is a junior Art History major. She has been obsessed with the subject since her father let her look at his books with all the colorful pictures as a child. Since then she has abandoned her childhood dream of becoming Picasso in favor of learning about her chosen passion. She one day hopes to share this knowledge either as a professor or in teaching children who would not have an art history program through their school. Her passions include gypsy punk, feminism, labor history, flamenco dancing and anatomy.

Phil is a Journalism major who minors in Political Science. When not wasting his time playing Halo, he enjoys music, hockey, and reporting. One day, he hopes to be a level 55 in Call of Duty, and of course, an established Journalist.

When I'm not devoting my life to watching movies, reading comic books, listening to underground hip-hop or the like, chances are I'll be trying to advance my personal and social capabilities while usually coming off as a complete jackass in conversation. I also try to squeeze in writing articles/critiques for the Independent somewhere in my busy schedule.
