Visiting Assistant Professor of Journalism

Description: A one-year appointment to teach basic and advanced courses in Journalism BA program in a liberal arts college setting. The appointment will be for the 2008-09 academic year. Advanced degree in Journalism preferred, along with significant experience as a professional journalist. Teaching will focus on foundation courses in reporting and writing, with additional opportunity to teach advanced electives to Journalism majors and students in related interdisciplinary fields. We especially welcome applicants with specialization in arts and cultural journalism, investigative reporting, and/or Public Affairs Journalism. Salary: $50,000
