Description: Purchase College, SUNY invites applications from candidates for a one-year appointment in post-Civil War U. S. History, starting in fall 2008. The fall teaching assignment will include an American History survey and a course in 20th century popular culture. Spring teaching assignments can include at least one proposed elective. Candidates should hold the PhD or be ABD.
Salary: $40,000-45,000
