COMMUTER SERVICES
Purchase College Bus: The College operates a shuttle bus that runs to the White Plains train station and shopping areas in Port Chester and Rye. It is funded by the transportation fee paid by every student. Visit www.purchase.edu/bus for the current schedule.
Westchester County Bus: The number 12 Bee-Line bus, which runs between the White Plains train station and Mount Kisco, stops on the Purchase campus. Download the map
of the number 12 line or the service timetable. The base fare for the Bee-Line is $1.75, and transfers are $0.25. More information is at www.westchestergov.com/beelinebus.Bus service across the Tappan Zee Bridge is available from the Tappan ZEExpress.
Train: The Metro North Harlem Line serves the White Plains train station, the closest station to the Purchase campus. Check out the current timetable or get general information at www.mta.info. Fare from Grand Central in Manhattan is $8.00/6.00 peak/off-peak when tickets are purchased at the station, and there are several bulk packages and online discounts offered by the MTA.
Taxi: A taxi ride from the White Plains train station to campus costs about $10. Broadway Taxi in White Plains at 914.948.3100 is one of many taxi companies that serves campus.

Traffic.com - Traffic reports and map constantly updated.
Metrocommute - Real-time traffic reports. E-mail and text message updates also available.
Mapquest - Do you have a back-up route to campus? This site can help you find one. Try the driving directions form, and experiment with the shortest route, fastest route, and avoid highways options.
