2007 Season in Review

Panthers Building a Championship Caliber Legacy

Purchase, NY The Purchase College men's and women's cross-country teams are ever-improving. This season saw a series of firsts: From a top finish in the Skyline Championships to a first ever ECAC Championship berth as team.

The women’s team finished in second place out of eight teams, scoring 63 points at championships. The men’s team finished third with a total of 91 points. Maya Seegers (SO/Greenwich, NY) finished in second place for the women with a time of 21:40 in the 5K. Seegers received All-Skyline honors along with seventh place finisher and fellow teammate Patricia Gaeta (SR/Niagara, NY), who finished with a time of 22:22.

Patrick Martin (SR/Greenwich, NY) led the Panthers with a seventh place finish and received All-Skyline honors.
