
Each year about 200 new transfer students join the Purchase College community. They bring ideas and experiences from their previous institutions, enriching the classrooms and helping other students to Think Wide Open.
The Transition Program and for new transfer students are created to acknowledge and expand on their previous higher education experience. New LAS Transfer Students that have not registered must attend one of the three advising and registration session on

Check-in is at 9:30 am on the morning of your session, in the Student Services Building, Red Room. Schedules will be given out upon arrival and include more information on additional events. New transfer students in the Conservatory of Music and the School of Art+Design will meet with advisors and register for fall semester classes on Tuesday September 2nd. Commuting Transfers will come to Check-In at 9am , in the Student Services Building, Red Room. Here you will be welcomed to campus and be provided with a schedule of events.
If you plan to live on campus in the fall, all New Transfer Students are scheduled to move-in on Monday, September 1st. You will receive your room assignment and keys from the Resident Assistant (RA) on duty; they are located in the complex office of each dormitory. If you will be living in the apartments you may receive your keys in J-2-1 in the Olde.
