Read before connecting to ERes
To access ERes (Electronic Reserves) you must have an active Purchase College Exchange email account. If you do not have an account or cannot remember your password, please visit Student Services on the Web or visit the CTS Helpdesk, located in the basement of the Social Sciences building or email the CTS Helpdesk at helpdesk@purchase.edu.
The username required to access ERes depends on the operating system (OS) of the computer that you are using:
*Windows 98/95/NT/ME, your username is: firstname.lastname
*Windows XP, your username is: firstname.lastname@purchase.edu
[your Purchase College email address]
*Mac OS, your username is: firstname.lastname@purchase.edu
For Windows XP and Mac, you could alternatively use: tnt_lan\firstname.lastname as your username.
Your password for ERes is the same password that you use to access your Purchase College Exchange email account.
*Please note that if you are unable to access your Purchase College Exchange email account, you will not be able to access ERes.
If you are asked to provide a domain, enter: tnt_lan
If you have pop-up blocker and/or personal firewall software installed and running on your computer, please disable them so that the login dialogue box can be displayed and you can access the system.
AOL users: You must minimize your AOL web browser and activate Internet Explorer in order to access ERes.
Mac Users: The Safari browser is incompatible with ERes. The recommeneded web browser is Mozilla Firefox.
Alternate web browsers: Mozilla Firefox, Opera
You must have Adobe® Reader® installed on your computer in order to display EResdocuments. Click on the icon to get Adobe® Reader® 6.0.
To access your course materials after logging in:
1. Click on the "Electronic Reserves & Reserves Pages" link on the ERes home page
2. Search for your course page - use the third tab to search "Course Reserves Pages by Instructor"
3. Locate your professor's last name from the pull-down menu and click the "View" button
4. Click on the course ID number
5. Click "Accept" to agree to the copyright statement. You will now see a list of your course materials.
