Individual Tutoring Sessions

Tutoring sessions are available for many subjects during regular business hours: Writing, Spanish, French, Italisn, Hebrew, ESL Conversation, and Math Proficiency.

Making Appointments:
Appointments are available on a drop-in or by-appointment basis.  To ensure a tutoring session, please call 914.251.3996 to schedule an appointment. The Learning Center staff will help to pair you with the correct tutor. Be sure to provide the following information when making an appointment in-person or over the phone: your full name, the name of the class, and the name of the professor who teaches the class. This information will be used to locate the tutor who can best suit your needs.

Time Management/Study Skills:
Tutors can also provide helpful information concerning time management and study skills. If you are interested in making regular appointments to hold yourself accountable for your work, learn how to utilize reading and note-taking strategies such as SQ3R and the Cornell Note-Taking System, or create a personal study schedule, please contact Adam Brown for an appointment (914.251.3998).
