Referring a Student to the Learning Center:

The Learning Center at Purchase College offers free tutorial help for the entire academic year.  Please refer students to The Learning Center to receive supplemental instruction and learn effective study skills.  We would be glad to submit a report of what information was covered during a session upon request.  We look forward to working with you.

Recommending a Student to be a tutor:

We value your recommendations here at The Learning Center.  Please submit names of any students that you feel could perform tutorial ervices for your class.  If you would like to hear more about what tutors do and do not do, feel free to request an office or class visit at any time. 

Class Visits:

Staff members are available for class visits during the entire school year.  A staff member will gladly lead a class presentation on study skills, time management, tutorial services, or online tutoring upon request.  Please contact Adam Brown at The Learning Center to schedule a class visit at least one week in advance.  We look forward to helping your students become more effecitve learners.
