Certificate Program in Fundraising and Board Development

Purchase College and the Association of Development Officers have joined to raise the bar for fundraising excellence in Westchester County by offering this comprehensive fundraising and board development program. The program is intended for development officers, executive directors, board members, and fundraisers, as well as those interested in the fields of philanthropy and fundraising.

The coursework covers all of the major components of a successful fundraising effort, including board development, strategic planning, annual giving, major gifts, planned giving, event coordination, grant writing, capital campaigns, volunteer program management, and more. The courses are taught by leading experts in the fundraising field. Every week, a different speaker will provide you with the tools and strategies needed to succeed at fundraising.

Flexibility, Designed to Meet Your Needs
The program is also designed to meet your needs and time constraints. You can take one or more of the multiweek courses offered, or complete the Fall and Spring program (a total of 16 sessions in four courses) and receive a certificate from Purchase College and the Association of Development Officers, demonstrating an acquired level of fundraising knowledge.
