The award winning Dance Building designed by Gunner Birkerts is the first facility in the United States to be constructed solely for the study and performance of dance. The ten fully equipped studios, saunas, and Dance Theatre Lab provide students with space, light and inspiration. Numerous student dance concerts take place every semester in the Dance Theatre Lab.

In addition to the Dance Building on-campus there is the world renowned Performing Arts Center, and the Neuberger Museum of Art.  These venues offer additional opportunities for dance students. The Purchase Dance Corps performs each semester in theatres in the Performing Arts Center.  Students will also experience the best of international dance companies who perform there, and their education will be enhanced by exhibitions and performances at the Neuberger Museum of Art.  For an education in the performing arts Purchase College and the Conservatory of Dance offer some of the very best facilities available anywhere in the world.
